TipPageBot in your chat

Enable the bot, mod it, and choose which commands it answers.

TipPageBot is the chat side of TipPage: it answers commands in your Twitch and Kick chat, posts alert announcements if you’ve enabled them, and lets your mods drive the queues without touching the dashboard. It never spams on its own - it only speaks when spoken to, or when you’ve asked it to announce something.

Enable the bot

Go to Chat bot in the dashboard. The Bot status panel has one row per connected platform with its own switch - turn the bot on for Twitch, Kick, or both. Each row also says what the bot appears as in that chat: TipPageBot on Twitch (or your custom bot), and TipPage on Kick.

Mod it

Run /mod TipPageBot in your Twitch chat. Without mod, the bot gets rate-limited and can’t speak in emote-only or slow mode. The Bot status panel shows a green LED once it’s a moderator. On Kick, TipPage posts as a bot account, which Kick marks with a bot badge.

Turning the bot off on a platform stops commands, timers and announcements in that chat only. Alerts on your overlay keep working either way - they don’t go through the bot.

Built-in commands

Everyone can use these (each one can be switched off individually on the Default commands tab):

Command What it does
!tip (also !tips, !donate) Posts your tip page link
!queue (!q) How many TTS and media items are waiting
!nowplaying (!np) What’s playing right now
!commands Links the full command list on your tip page
!credits The viewer’s free-message credit balance (sub rewards)
!followage (!fa) How long they’ve followed - works on @someone too
!accountage (!aa) How old their Twitch account is
!sr <YouTube link> Song request from chat - off by default, enable it if you dare
!bot Bot version and uptime

Mod commands

Mods and you only:

Command What it does
!tts skip / pause / resume Drive the TTS queue
!tts replay Lists the last 5 messages - reply with a number to requeue one
!media skip / pause / resume / replay Same, for media
!skip / !pause / !resume The linked-mode versions, when linked queue mode is on

Aliases

Every built-in can be given extra triggers - click the pencil on its row and add your own (comma or space separated). The built-in triggers always keep working.

Want the bot to say things of your own? That’s custom commands. Want it to speak from your own bot account instead of TipPageBot? That’s a custom bot.
