{arg:N}

The Nth word the viewer typed after the command.

{arg:1}   {arg:2}   …   {arg:9}

Platforms: Twitch and Kick.

One word of the viewer’s message, counting from the first word after the command. Empty if they didn’t type that many.

Examples

!ship   →  {arg:1} × {arg:2} compatibility: {random:0-100}%
!roll   →  {user} rolled {random:1-{arg:1}}
!vote   →  {if:{arg:1}==yes|{user} voted YES ✅|{if:{arg:1}==no|{user} voted NO ❌|Vote yes or no, {user}}}

!ship chat modschat × mods compatibility: 73%. In !roll 20 the argument becomes the upper bound of the random range - variables can be arguments to other variables.

Notes

  • Words are split on spaces. {arg:1} keeps any @ the viewer typed; {touser} strips it.
  • Argument text is data, never code - see Variables.
