{touser}

Who the command is aimed at - the first word the viewer typed, or the viewer themselves.

{touser}

Platforms: Twitch and Kick.

The first word typed after the command, with any leading @ removed. If the viewer typed nothing, it’s the viewer’s own name - or, when they replied to someone’s message, the person they replied to.

Examples

!hug     →  {user} gives {touser} a big warm hug 🤗

!hug @Alice says Bob gives Alice a big warm hug. A bare !hug means Bob hugs Bob, which is also fine.

!so      →  Go follow {touser} at twitch.tv/{lower:{touser}} - they're great!
!fa      →  {touser} has been following for {followage:{touser}}

Notes

  • It’s whatever they typed - {touser} isn’t checked against the platform. Wrap it in {lower:} if you’re building a URL.
  • Only works in commands (something has to have been typed). In timers and announcements it stays as typed.
