{args}
Everything the viewer typed after the command, word for word.
{args}
Platforms: Twitch and Kick.
The whole rest of the viewer’s message after the command itself. Empty if they typed nothing.
Examples
!announce → 📢 {user} says: {args}
!ai → {ai:{args}}
!google → https://www.google.com/search?q={queryescape:{args}}
!quote → {if:{args}|{user} wants it on record: "{args}"|Type something after !quote, {user}}
Notes
- It’s echoed exactly as typed and is never treated as more variables - a
viewer typing
{pick:...}at your bot just gets their curly braces back. That holds even inside an{if:}condition or an{ai:}prompt. - For single words use
{arg:N}; for the target of the command use{touser}. - Long inputs can push a reply past Twitch’s 500-character limit; the bot trims the end.
